Ky-Mani Marley, born in Falmouth Jamaica on 26th February 1976 is among the most famous and rich Reggae Singers. In the classic cult movie Shottas he starred opposite Wyclef. Ky-Mani signed to Shang Records and recorded his debut album, called like Father Like Son. This was followed by several singles, including Dear Dad, which topped British Reggae Charts. Who The Cap fit (remix) as well as Sensimelia. All of these helped to establish Ky-Mani's status as a brand new reggae singer. Ky-Mani and Praswell from the Fugees were joined in 1997 to record Avenue the cover version of Eddy Grant's Electric Avenue. Marley is the very first artist to play in Midem in Miami, an international showcase of musical talent. Marley performed a set live in the Cameo Theatre, which was broadcast by Caribbean News Agency across 36 nations. Marley's name was soon the focus of a bidding war.
